Today I felt inspired to write a poem about the lord messiah Barack Obama. I mean no disrespect to the great J.R.R. Tolkien by this bit of frivolity.
Three years of community organizing in big Chi
Eight of Illinois state senate – present, not yes or no
Twenty years for Trinity United and abandoned Jerry Wright
The One – Barack Obama – now brings us hope
In the Land of Mordor, where the media lie
One noob to fool them all, one noob plus Biden,
One noob with hope for all and change we can confide in
In the Land of Mordor, where the media lie.
Now...I wonder if anyone will actually read this, or anything else I post here.
